Wellness Incentive For Hard-working Employees

We’ve seen a lot of companies use on and/or off site massage services for a variety of things. Office massage is a wellness tool, a morale booster, a way to entice top talent, and even a great gift for hard-working staffs.

Many companies typically use incentives to improve productivity, reward excellent work, or encourage participation in a program for their employees. Incentives or rewards are intended to be an enticing motivator that will provide an extra bit of encouragement to your employees.

Rewards are a powerful tool used for employee engagement. Recognizing and rewarding your employees effectively is crucial for retaining top talent and keeping employees happy.

Reward Your Employees
A lack of engagement and clear void when it comes to employee recognition for the work they put in, are the most common reasons given at exit interviews by Millennial workers–a group who will make up 50% of the workforce by 2020. You need to reward your employees for their hard work, effort, and dedication.

But how?

Honestly, it’s not that hard to increase employee engagement. The not-so-magic formula is simply to recognize and appreciate your high-performers. (P.S. This doesn’t necessarily mean handing out cash.)

Top 5 ways to recognize and reward your employees:
1.) Express thanks with a public thank you. Sometimes a simple “thank you” can do wonders.
2.) Give a hand-written note. In an age of emails and texts, a simple handwritten note really stands out.
3) Offer time off. If employees are putting in extra hours or weekend time to finish a project, consider offering an extra day off – or letting them take off a few hours early on a Friday.
4.) Reward them with a massage. Individual massages can be expensive, but if you want to reward a big group of employees, consider hiring massage therapists for the day that offers chair massages. Or you can schedule a massage to a well-respected massage spa and bring your employees there to have a relaxing and stress-free day.
5.) Feature top employees on your company blog or newsletter. By featuring top employees in your company blog or newsletter, you not only give them the recognition they deserve, but you broadcast what your company values in top employees.

Many companies plan holiday parties, but you can recognize great work all around by planning an impromptu activity that gives employees a few hours off from work. Last September 19 to 21, a group of hard-working staffs of a BPO company in Clark (Concentrix), scheduled a 3-day all massage activity:
